Each Life Journeys project is customized to meet your needs. Whether you hope to record the stories of a lifetime or highlight a few special times in it, we can create something together which will be cherished for years to come.

After an initial meeting to discuss the scope of your project, we'll establish a schedule and a budget.

Though the process will vary depending on the type of project you want, the following gives an example of what would be involved if your goal is an heirloom-quality book:

• A series of fun, casual conversations will be recorded in the comfort of your home or office. With empathy and curiosity, we ask questions that will guide you to remember things long forgotten. For instance: What is your earliest memory? Who were the people who shaped your life? Tell me about the places you lived.

• After the "interviews" are completed, we'll transcribe the recordings, then weave the stories you've told into a meaningful, logical, well-written narrative that reads like one of your favorite novels. Except you'll be the star!

• Next, we'll help you select photographs, letters, newspaper clippings and any other keepsakes that might help enhance your story.

• After the keepsakes are selected and the story written (and approved by you), you'll select the style of finished product that you want and decide how many copies you will need for family and friends. Then we'll coordinate the design, printing and binding of your book.
